Democratic Senate Candidate’s Racist Jab at Usha Vance Backfires Spectacularly
There’s something revealing about watching Democrats tie themselves in knots trying to appear culturally sensitive while simultaneously launching what can only be described as a racist attack. Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed just gave us a masterclass in this particular brand of hypocrisy, and second lady Usha Vance’s response was perfect in its simplicity. She laughed.
The whole mess started when Vice President JD Vance called out El-Sayed for previously arguing that criticisms of Sharia law were rooted in white supremacy. It’s the kind of statement that makes you wonder if some people have completely lost the plot. Vance invoked his late grandfather, saying he’d love to go back in time and tell his Papaw about a Democrat who thinks criticizing Sharia law makes you a white supremacist. Fair point, honestly.
